Samples

The Samples branch holds sample points: locations on the model at which the attribute values of the mesh or point cloud were read and stored. Place one with Interpretations → Sample by picking a point in the scene, or capture one at the receiver's position with Sample Here during GNSS field navigation.

The first node under the branch is Attributes: the columns of the sample table. Right-click it to add continuous, discrete, boolean or string columns — see Sample Attributes. Spreadsheet on the branch menu opens the whole table.

Context menus

The branch header shows the standard group menu, and each sample shows the standard item menu. Both are listed on the Standard Item and Group Menus page. The Attributes node has its own menu, on the Sample Attributes page.
